Privacy policy

Hamoru has no account sign-up. The app contains no analytics tools and no advertising SDKs, and it does not send usage information to the developer's server.

Information you choose to send by email, and information involved in serving this website, are described in the sections below.

Separating an imported song into parts happens on your device. Your audio, in whole or in part, is never uploaded to the developer's server in order to separate it.

The separated audio, along with the song title, volumes, key and saved loops, is stored on your device. Songs to be separated must be 10 minutes or shorter.

Songs and settings you have saved may be backed up to iCloud or elsewhere, according to your OS backup settings. This is separate from any upload by the app, which does not happen. The working folder used during separation is excluded from backup.

Deleting a song in the app deletes that song's audio files and its record. Deleting the app deletes the app's data on that device. Copies held in your OS backup, or that you saved somewhere else yourself, are managed wherever they are stored.

The data used for separation is built into the app, so separation uses no network connection. The app itself is downloaded and updated through the App Store.

The app uses a connection in these cases.

• Price, purchase and restore: prices and purchase status are checked through Apple's StoreKit.
• External pages: choosing the support, privacy policy or credits link opens that page in your browser.

Adding a song, separating it and playing it all work without an internet connection.

In-app purchases are handled through Apple's StoreKit. The app checks whether a purchase has been made and unlocks the feature. There is no separate process that sends purchase information to the developer's server.

The developer never receives a credit card number through the app. Apple Account and payment information is handled by Apple.

Songs are chosen through the OS photo picker or file picker, and only the audio file or video you select is imported. The app does not ask for access to your whole photo library, your microphone or your contacts.

The app asks permission to send notifications created on your device when separation finishes or is interrupted. This is optional: separation and playback work whether or not you allow it. Notification settings can be changed in your OS settings.

Contacting us is optional. The email address, message text, name and any attachments you send are used to answer your question and to investigate problems.

Choosing the email link opens your mail app. No message or audio is sent automatically. Please do not attach personal information or audio that is not needed. To ask for information you sent to be deleted, write to the same address.

This site is made of static pages, and contains no usage analytics and no advertising. Images are served from this same site, and the fonts are the ones already on your device.

The public site is served by Cloudflare Pages. To deliver the site and protect the connection, Cloudflare may handle connection information such as your IP address. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.
